What is Allegra 60?
Allegra 60 is the 60 mg dose of Allegra (generic name fexofenadine). Allegra 60 comes in tablet form (disintegrated pill is available) and must be ingested orally. All forms of Allegra, including the Allegra 60 mg tablet, are available over the counter without prescription.
Allegra 60 is an antihistamine that relieves the symptoms of allergies, including itchy or runny noses, itchy throat, watery or red eyes and sinus headaches. In addition to fighting allergy symptoms, Allegra 60 is used to impede hives and rashes from forming on the body.
How Should I Take Allegra 60 mg?
You must take Allegra 60 orally once or twice a day with or without food. Allegra 60 mg should never be taken with orange or grapefruit juices; the drug ideally should be taken with water. Fruit juices are not recommended with Allegra 60 mg because the juice’s chemical makeup impedes the body from absorbing the entire drug.
