On December 4, 1986, the remains of an unidentified infant were located in a dumpster behind the Paisano Pizzaria at the Towne Shopping Center on Rte. 42 in Turnersville, NJ. The infant's body was found wrapped in a beach towel depicting an African plains scene, then placed in a silver plastic bag. A portion of the umbilical cord was still attached to the infant. The infant's mother, believed to be Caucasian, would have been showing her pregnancy during the late summer and fall months of 1986. The above images depict a computer-assisted composite image of the infant and a computer-assisted composite image of the infant's mother with an inset photo of the beach towel in which the infant was wrapped. The mother's image is an artist's interpretation of what she may have looked like, based on the infant's facial characteristics.
