On April 3, 1985, partial skeletal remains were located near Big Wheel Gap Road, four miles southwest of Jellico in Campbell County, Tennessee. The decedent is believed to be a white female who was between the ages of 10 and 14 at the time of her death. Hair color, eye color, height and weight could not be determined. A pair of size 5 hiking boots was found near the remains, but it is not known if the boots belonged to the decedent. A necklace and bracelet made of plastic buttons was also found with the remains. |
