On April 20, 1978, the remains of this unidentified female were found buried in a commercial flower field in the 19300 block of South Wilmington Avenue in Carson, California. She was estimated to be between 14 and 20 years of age. The decedent had long black hair, her fingernails were painted pink, and her upper teeth overlapped on the right side. She had a 3-inch vertical scar on her abdomen and stretch marks, indicating that she possibly had a child. Two Hispanic males were seen driving away from the site where the decedent’s body was found in a 1970 dark blue Vega Hatchback. The image at left is a computer-assisted composite created by a forensic artist at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Anyone having information about the identity of this female, or the males seen driving from the scene, is asked to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department or the NCMEC Cold Case Review Unit.
