On June 26, 1984, the remains of an unidentified female were found near Avenue J and 255th Street in Lancaster, California. The decedent was estimated to be between 20 and 28 years of age, and she was deceased for approximately 7-10 days prior to discovery. She had a heavy build and medium length brown hair. She wore a white long-sleeve sweatshirt with a collar and a “Jones” label; blue Levi jeans; black ankle-length boots; brown socks; a men’s black and white T-shirt; a white lace “Accentuate” brand bra; and a belt with a Harley-Davidson belt buckle. The decedent also wore a necklace with a horse or unicorn pendant (shown) and there was a yellow metal chain with a Catholic medallion found in her right rear pocket (shown). The decedent was known to associate with Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders. She may have used the nickname “Gypsy” and worked at the “Tennessee Bar” in Culver City, California prior to her death. |
