Statements made during a 911 call by a declarant unavailable to testify at trial are analyzed on a case-by-case basis to determine whether the statements are testimonial or nontestimonial for purposes of Crawford v. Washington, 541 U.S. 36 (2004).

Statements made to police officers during an initial, on-scene field investigation by a declarant unavailable to testify at trial are analyzed on a case-by-case basis to determine whether the statements made during that investigation are testimonial or nontestimonial for purposes of Crawford.

Affirmed.
