Defendant, Robert G. Detert, was charged with multiple counts of harassment of a witness(720 ILCS 5/32--4a(a)(2) (West 2000)), a Class 2 felony. Following a bench trial, he was found notguilty by reason of insanity. The trial court found that defendant was in need of mental healthservices on an inpatient basis and ordered him to the Department of Human Services.
