JUSTICE THEIS delivered the opinion of the court:

Following a bench trial, defendant Cesar Pizano was convicted of knowingly possessing afraudulent identification card and sentenced to 18 months' probation and 7 days in the Sheriff"sWork Alternative Program (SWAP). On appeal, he raises the following contentions: (1) hissentence violates the proportionate penalties clause of the Illinois Constitution (Ill. Const. 1970,art. I,
