(i)
Notwithstanding the provisions of § 86.004-25(b)(4)(iii) introductory text through (b)(4)(iii)(C), paragraph (b)(4)(iii)(D) of this section, § 86.004-25(b)(4)(iii)(E), paragraph (b)(4)(iii)(F) of this section, § 86.004-25(b)(4)(iii)(G), and § 86.004-25(b)(6), manufacturers of heavy-duty engines may schedule replacement or repair of particulate trap (or trap oxidizer) systems or catalytic converters (including NOX adsorbers), provided:

The manufacturer demonstrates to the Administrator's satisfaction that the repair or replacement will be performed according to the schedule; and
