§ 2373a. Authorization of appropriations
(a)
In general
There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Labor $40,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2009 and 2010, and $10,000,000 for the period beginning October 1, 2010, and ending December 31, 2010, to carry out the Sector Partnership Grant program under section
2373 of this title. Funds appropriated pursuant to this section shall remain available until expended.
(b)
Supplement not supplant
Funds appropriated pursuant to this section shall be used to supplement and not supplant other Federal, State, and local public funds expended to support the economic development of local communities.
(c)
Administrative costs
The Secretary may retain not more than 5 percent of the funds appropriated pursuant to this section for each fiscal year to administer the Sector Partnership Grant program under section
2373 of this title.
