§ 66-5. Term of office of members; suspension or removal.
The members of the Board shall be appointed initially as follows: threemembers for a term of two years each and four members for a term of fouryears each. Thereafter, the appointment of such members or their successorsshall be for terms of four years, except that an appointment to fill avacancy shall be for the unexpired term. No person shall be eligible toserve for or during more than two successive four-year terms. However, anyperson appointed to fill a vacancy may be eligible for two additionalsuccessive terms after the term of the vacancy for which he was appointed hasexpired. Members of the Board may be suspended or removed by the Governor athis pleasure.
