§ 65.2-1308. Privileged communications.
The provisions of Chapter 37 (§ 2.2-3700 et seq.) of Title 2.2 shall not beapplicable to the Statewide Coordinating Committee or any regional peerreview committee. The proceedings, minutes, records and reports of theStatewide Coordinating Committee and each regional peer review committee,together with all communications, both oral and written, originating in orprovided to any such committees are privileged communications which shall notbe disclosed or obtained by legal discovery proceedings unless a circuitcourt, after a hearing and for good cause arising from extraordinarycircumstances being shown, orders the disclosure of such proceedings,minutes, records, reports or communications.
