§ 62.1-44.116. Assistance by Board in riparian disputes.
In the event non-Virginia claimants question or seek to abridge the riparianuse of the waters of the Potomac River by Virginia riparian owners, the StateWater Control Board shall advise and assist such riparian owners in theproper exercise and protection of their rights, giving due consideration tothe rights of others and to the wise use of the water, and the Board shallassist in the resolution of conflicts concerning such rights.
