62.1-44.44 - Construction of chapter.

§ 62.1-44.44. Construction of chapter.

(a) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as superseding any provisionsof Chapter 5 of Title 10.1, or as limiting or affecting any powers, duties orresponsibilities conferred or imposed heretofore or hereafter on the VirginiaSoil and Water Conservation Board.

(b) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as altering, or as authorizingany alteration of, any existing riparian rights or other vested rights inwater or water use.
