§ 6.1-251. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Evasions to which § 6.1-249applicable.
The provisions of § 6.1-249 shall apply to any person who seeks to evade itsapplication by any device, subterfuge, or pretense whatsoever including, butnot thereby limiting the generality of the foregoing: the loan, forbearance,use, or sale of credit (as guarantor, surety, endorser, comaker, orotherwise), money, goods, or things in action; the use of collateral orrelated sales or purchases of goods or services, or agreements to sell orpurchase, whether real or pretended; receiving or charging compensation forgoods or services, whether or not sold, delivered, or provided; and the realor pretended negotiation, arrangement, or procurement of a loan through anyuse or activity of a third person, whether real or fictitious.
