§ 6.1-194.43. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Applicability of VirginiaStock and Nonstock Corporation Acts.

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a foreign savings institutionconducting a savings institution business in the Commonwealth shall complywith the provisions of the Virginia Stock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-601 etseq.) and the Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-801 et seq.)governing the admission and transaction of business by foreign corporationsin the Commonwealth.
