§ 6.1-109. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Same; when such claims barred.

After the lapse of six months from the date of the last publication of thenotice prescribed by §§ 6.1-106, 6.1-107 or 6.1-108 the court shall enter anorder barring the claims of all creditors who have not theretofore appliedfor payment of their claims, and thereafter no creditor who shall have failedto apply for payment within such period shall bring or maintain any action,suit or proceeding, nor shall any process issue for the enforcement of anyclaim to dividends or payments previously ordered paid to such creditor norshall such creditor participate in future dividends or payments thereafterordered in the suit or petition to be paid; provided, however, that the courtin which any such suit or petition is pending may, in its discretion, beforefinal distribution and for good cause shown, reinstate any claim barred asaforesaid.
