§ 55-100. Recordation of instruments affecting civil aircraft of UnitedStates.
No instrument which affects the title to or interest in any civil aircraft ofthe United States, as defined by federal law, or any portion thereof, shallbe valid in respect of such aircraft or portion thereof against any personother than the person by whom the instrument is made or given, his heir ordevisee, and any person having actual notice thereof, until such instrumentis recorded in the office of the Civil Aeronautic Administrator of the UnitedStates, or such other office as is designated by the laws of the UnitedStates as the one in which such instruments should be filed. Every suchinstrument so recorded in such office shall be valid as to all personswithout further recordation in any office in this Commonwealth, theprovisions of any other recordation statute to the contrary notwithstanding.Any instrument, recordation of which is required by the provisions of thissection, shall take effect from the date of its recordation and not from thedate of its execution.
