§ 54.1-1502. Board; qualifications and terms of members; officers.
The Board for Hearing Aid Specialists shall consist of seven members, asfollows: four licensed hearing aid specialists, of which at least one shallbe licensed as an audiologist by the Board of Audiology and Speech-LanguagePathology, one otolaryngologist, and two citizen members. One of the citizenmembers shall be a hearing aid user and the other a person who has a familymember who is or has been a hearing aid user. Each hearing aid specialist andthe otolaryngologist shall have at least five years of experience in theirrespective fields immediately prior to appointment. The terms of Boardmembers shall be four years.
There shall be a chairman and vice-chairman, each of whom shall be elected bythe Board from its membership.
