§ 45.1-161.89. Certificates of inspection.
A. Upon completing a mine inspection, a mine inspector shall complete acertificate regarding such inspections. The certificate of inspection shallshow the date of inspection, the condition in which the mine is found, astatement regarding any violations of this Act discovered during theinspection, the progress made in the improvement of the mine as such progressrelates to health and safety, the number of accidents and injuries occurringin and about the mine since the previous inspection, and all other facts andinformation of public interest concerning the condition of the mine as may beuseful and proper.
B. The mine inspector shall deliver one copy of the certificate of inspectionto the operator, agent or mine foreman, and one copy to the employees' safetycommittee where applicable; and shall post one copy at a prominent place onthe premises where it can be read conveniently by the miners.
C. With respect to coal mines, the Department shall provide access tocertificates of inspection to the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
