§ 45.1-161.2. Department continued; appointment of Director.

The Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy is continued as an agency withinthe Secretariat of Commerce and Trade. The Department shall be headed by aDirector who shall be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation bythe General Assembly, to serve at his pleasure for a term coincident with hisown.
