§ 33.1-69.1. Transfer of control, etc., of landings, docks and wharves toDepartment of Game and Inland Fisheries.

A. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the CommonwealthTransportation Board may transfer the control, possession, supervision,management, and jurisdiction of landings, wharves, and docks in the secondarysystem of state highways to the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, atthe request or with the concurrence of the Department of Game and InlandFisheries. Such transfer may be by lease, agreement, or otherwise, approvedby resolution of the Board, and signed by the Commissioner or his designee,for such period and upon such terms and conditions as the Board may direct.

B. All such transfers effected prior to the enactment of this section bylease, agreement, or otherwise, from the Department to the Department of Gameand Inland Fisheries, and all regulations of the Department of Game andInland Fisheries controlling the use of such facilities, shall be and arehereby declared valid in every respect.
