§ 28.2-518. Dredging for oysters in James River; penalty.
It shall be unlawful for any person to dredge for oysters in the James Riverduring the open season for taking oysters from the public rocks and shoals.However, the Commission may grant a permit to applicants to dredge inspecified areas.
A violation of this section is a Class 6 felony.
