§ 22.1-22. Oath of office.

Before entering upon the duties of his office, the Superintendent of PublicInstruction shall take and subscribe the oath prescribed for an officer ofthis Commonwealth as provided in Chapter 1 (§ 49-1 et seq.) of Title 49.
