§ 2.2-810. Judges and clerks to certify to Supreme Court lists of allallowances made by courts.
The judge of every court of the Commonwealth making an allowance for thepayment of any sum out of the state treasury shall certify to the SupremeCourt a list of all allowances at least monthly, the date of the making andthe amount of such allowance, and to whom made. A certificate of allallowances made by such court shall be made up by the clerk of the court andforwarded to the Supreme Court. The form of the certificate shall beprescribed by the Supreme Court, and it shall be made on blanks prepared bythem and furnished the judges and clerks of the several courts of theCommonwealth. The Comptroller shall not draw any warrant on the StateTreasurer in satisfaction of any allowance made by any court of theCommonwealth until the Supreme Court has received notification of theallowance by the court of the claim and approved the allowance for payment.
