§ 2.2-3309. Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
The seventh day of December of each year shall be designated as Pearl HarborRemembrance Day in the Commonwealth in special tribute to those members ofour armed forces who lost their lives, and also to those who survived, theattack on Pearl Harbor, Territory of Hawaii, December 7, 1941. Upon thisdate, in perpetuity, all citizens of the Commonwealth and the nation areurged to pay homage to the members of our armed forces for the manner inwhich they bore the attack.
