§ 2.2-2637. Confidentiality of information; penalty.
A. It shall be unlawful for any officer, employee or member of the Council tomake public, prior to a public hearing pursuant to § 2.2-2634, investigativenotes and other correspondence and information furnished to the Council inconfidence with respect to an investigation or conciliation process involvingan alleged unlawful discriminatory practice.
B. Nothing in this section, however, shall prohibit the distribution ofinformation taken from inactive reports in a form that does not reveal theidentity of the parties involved or other persons supplying information.
C. Any person convicted of a violation of this section shall be guilty of aClass 3 misdemeanor.
