§ 19.2-351. How fines disposed of; informer.
Although a law may allow an informer or person prosecuting to have part of afine or penalty, the whole thereof shall go to the Commonwealth, unless thename of such informer or prosecutor be endorsed on, or written at the footof, the presentment at the time it is made, or of the indictment before it ispresented to the grand jury, or of the information before it is filed, or ofthe writ issued in the action, or the process on the warrant, or the noticeof the motion before service of such writ, process, or notice.
