15.2-2105.1 - Granting franchises for operation of a vehicular ferry transportation system.

§ 15.2-2105.1. Granting franchises for operation of a vehicular ferrytransportation system.

The authority granted by this article for the granting of franchises bylocalities shall include the authority to grant an exclusive franchise forthe operation of a vehicular ferry transportation system in NorthumberlandCounty. The county may regulate such system, including the establishment offees and rates.
