§ 2298. Director of the office of professional regulation as process agent
Every nonresident applicant shall file a stipulation appointing the director of the office of professional regulation and the director's successor in office as the applicant's true and lawful attorney, upon whom may be served all lawful process in any action or proceeding against the applicant. Such appointment shall contain an express agreement by the applicant that any lawful process against the applicant which is served on such attorney shall have the same legal force and effect as if served upon the applicant, and that the authority given in such appointment shall continue in force so long as any liability to any resident of this state remains unsatisfied.
