§ 1735. Supervision and scope of practice
(a) The number of physician's assistants permitted to practice under the direction and supervision of a physician shall be regulated by the board after review of the system of care delivery in which the physician and physician's assistants propose to practice. At no time shall the practice of the physician's assistant exceed the normal scope of the supervising physician's practice.
(c) All charges for services rendered by physician's assistants shall be clearly identified in all billings by the supervising physician. (Added 1981, No. 100, § 5; amended 1985, No. 208 (Adj.
