§ 603. Contempt
A person who disobeys a lawful order or decree of a court or judge, made under the provisions of this chapter, may be proceeded against for contempt as provided by section 122 of Title 12. The department for children and families may institute such proceedings in all cases in which a party or dependent children of the parties are the recipients of financial assistance from the department. The court may order restitution to the department, and that payments be made to the department for distribution, or make such other orders or conditions as it deems proper.
