§ 580. Seized property taken by writ of replevin
If liquor or other property seized by an officer under the provisions of this title is taken from his possession by writ of replevin, it shall not be delivered to the claimant, but shall be held by the officer serving such writ, until the final determination of the action; whereupon the same shall be delivered to the party in whose favor judgment is rendered, or to such officer as has authority to hold or dispose of the same under the original seizure proceedings.
