57-8-107. Abatement of nuisance Jurisdiction Filing petition.
(a) Jurisdiction is conferred upon the chancery, circuit and criminal courts to abate the public nuisance defined in this chapter, upon petition in the name of the state of Tennessee, upon relation of the commissioner of agriculture or the inspector.
(b) It is made the duty of the attorney general, and of the district attorney general in the district where the violation is alleged to have occurred, to file the petition upon the request and demand of the commissioner or inspector.
