54-8-105. Payment of county highway commissioners for services and expenses.
The county legislative body of the county, as provided by this chapter, is authorized to pay the county highway commission a reasonable amount for its services and to pay its actual expenses, the payment of which shall be made from the public road funds of the county, and in the usual and legal manner now provided by law, by warrant to the trustee of the county, which shall be signed by the chair of the county highway commission and by the county mayor.
