54-13-203. Consent of owner of opposite bank to erection.
If the application is for the erection of a toll bridge or milldam, and the applicant is not the owner of the land on both sides of the stream, the petition shall be accompanied by the written consent of the owner of the land on the side that does not belong to the petitioner, which consent shall be proven by two (2) witnesses to the consent, and be recorded with the petition.
