54-13-201. Toll bridges across stream dividing counties.

(a)  If the proposed improvements are a toll bridge across a stream that, at the place where the bridge is to be built, is the boundary between two (2) counties, the legislative body of either county may be applied to for authority to build the toll bridge.

(b)  If the application is made to the legislative body of one (1) of the counties, and it is refused, the legislative body of the other county shall not afterwards grant the same applicant the privilege.

(c)  The legislative body granting the application may make all orders necessary in the case.
