50-3-2011. Duties of commissioner.
(a) The commissioner shall develop and provide each non-manufacturing employer with a suitable form of notice providing employees with information regarding their rights under this part.
(b) As part of the outreach program, the commissioner shall develop an education and training program to assist non-manufacturing employers pursuant to § 50-3-2010(d).
(c) As part of the outreach program, the commissioner may develop and distribute a supply of informational leaflets on non-manufacturing employers' duties, employees' rights, the outreach program or the effects of hazardous chemicals.
(d) The commissioner may contract with state universities or other public or private organizations to develop and implement the outreach program.
(e) The commissioner shall establish and publicize the availability of an information office to provide copies of MSDSs upon request and payment of a reasonable copying fee or mailing fee, or both.
