49-6-301. Elementary schools and middle schools defined.
(a) Elementary schools are schools serving any combination of kindergarten through grade eight (K-8).
(b) Middle schools are elementary schools designed to serve grades five through eight (5-8) only, or any combination of grades five through eight (5-8).
