9-51-37. Parking districts authorized--Assessment of costs. The governing body of any municipality shall have the power to establish one or more districts for the acquisition of sites for the improvement of public parking facilities, to establish the boundaries of such district or districts, and to assess all or any part of the costs of acquisition and improvement of one or several public parking facilities.
