Section 47-15-6 - Filing articles with secretary of state--Beginning of corporate existence.
47-15-6. Filing articles with secretary of state--Beginning of corporate existence. An original and one exact or conforming copy of the articles of incorporation, duly signed and acknowledged, shall be delivered to the secretary of state for filing and recording. The legal corporate existence of a cooperative begins when the articles are so delivered. The secretary of state shall stamp on the original and the copy the date of filing and recording and return the copy to the cooperative with his certificate of filing and recording.
