46A-6-9. Supplemental contracts with United States--Election not necessary--Judicial confirmation not required--Resolution of board of directors authorizing execution. In case any supplementary or amendatory contract shall be made with the United States under § 46A-6-8, no election shall be necessary, nor shall the board of directors of such irrigation district be required to proceed for a judicial confirmation of the making of such contract and the terms thereof. It shall be sufficient in the case of a contract made with the United States under § 46A-6-8 for the board of directors of any irrigation district to authorize the execution of the same by its president and secretary by appropriate resolution adopted at any regular or special meeting of the board of directors.
