40-1-2.5. Dangerous animal defined. For the purposes of this chapter and chapter 40-2, a dangerous animal is any animal that, by itself or by environmental circumstances, at the determination of the board, any agent or officer of a humane society, or any peace officer after investigation, is a threat to the physical well-being of other owned animals or humans.
