38-14-7. Investigation by Public Utilities Commission of complaints of discrimination--Procedure and powers of commission. If complaint shall be made to the Public Utilities Commission that any person is guilty of discrimination as defined in this chapter, said commission shall investigate such complaint within thirty days, and for such purpose, insofar as applicable, the procedure before the Public Utilities Commission in cases involving the rates, facilities, service, or other affairs of railroads in this state, including notices of hearing; the conducting of hearings; compelling the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production of records, data, and information; the preparation, recording, and serving of reports and orders of the commission, shall be followed and shall govern in all proceedings and investigations before the commission under the provisions of this chapter.
