34A-5-55. Severability of provisions. In the event that any provision of this chapter or any application thereof to particular circumstances should be held invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, all other provisions of this chapter and the application of each provision to other circumstances shall be and remain in full force and effect so far as the same can be effective without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the various provisions of this chapter and the applications thereof to varying circumstances are declared to be severable.
