2-9-27. Committees and advisory boards established by commission. The Commission on Intergovernmental Cooperation may establish such committees and advisory boards as it deems advisable, to conduct conferences and to formulate proposals concerning subjects of intergovernmental cooperation. Subject to the approval of the commission, the members of every such committee and advisory board shall be appointed by the cochairmen of the commission. State officials may be appointed as members of any such committee or advisory board, and private citizens may serve on such board, but at least one member of the commission shall be a member of every such committee and board.
The commission may establish such rules as it considers appropriate concerning the membership and the functioning of any committee or board which it establishes.
