§ 8-8-3.3 Equitable powers in residentiallandlord and tenant matters. – In addition to the powers heretofore exercised, the district court is herebyempowered, in furtherance of its jurisdiction under § 8-8-3(a)(2), togrant such orders, including temporary restraining orders, and preliminary andpermanent injunctions as justice and equity may require.
