§ 5-70-16 Fees. – (a) The fees shall be paid by an applicant for filing an application forexamination, for the examination, for biennial renewal, for renewal of anexpired certificate, or for issuance of a duplicate certificate shall be inaccordance with a section entitled "Fees", of the regulations of the departmentof labor and training.
(b) All fee or other monies collected under the provisions ofthis chapter shall be paid to and received by the general treasurer who shallkeep those monies in a separate fund administered by the department of laborand training pursuant to § 28-22-1.1. All monies in the fund shall be usedto reimburse the board for expenses incurred in the administration andenforcement of this chapter. The controller is authorized and directed to drawhis or her orders upon the general treasurer for payment from the fund, uponreceipt by the controller of vouchers authenticated by the chairperson orsecretary of the board.
(c) A holder of an electrical contractor's license,certificate A issued by this state who has submitted the appropriateapplication shall be issued a TSC license without an additional license feeother than that assessed for the electrical contractor's license, certificateA. This shall remain an ongoing practice and does not have any grandfatheringrestrictions placed on it. The TSC license shall run concurrent with theelectrical contractor's license. The TSC license shall be separable from and issubject to enforcement by this board.
