§ 5-37.2-9 Special licensing. – Upon application to the department prior to July 1, 1980, any person who hasbeen an instructor in the art of acupuncture at a domestic or foreign collegeor university satisfactory to the department for a period of two (2) years andwho has had at least ten (10) years experience, shall be granted a license bythe department as a doctor of acupuncture without the necessity of taking anexamination.
