§ 5-34-14 Qualifications of practicalnurse applicants. An applicant for a license to practice as a licensed practical nurse shallsubmit to the board of nurse registration and nursing education writtenevidence on forms furnished by the department, verified by oath, that theapplicant:
(1) Has completed the preliminary educational requirementsprescribed by the board;
(2) Has furnished satisfactory proof that he or shesuccessfully completed the prescribed curriculum in an approved program ofpractical nursing and holds a diploma or certificate from the program or is agraduate of an approved school of professional nursing or was a student in goodstanding at an approved school of professional nursing before completing theprogram of studies and, at the time of withdrawal, had completed a program ofstudy, theory and clinical practice equivalent to that required for graduationfrom an approved school of practical nursing; and
(3) Is of good moral character.
